HOPPY EASTER!
I Still love dying Easter eggs! It's a family tradition that we have always had, and though we are all older, we still get together to do this every year!
ReplyDeleteWe always have a "little kid" and a "big kid" egg hunt. I've moved up into the "big kid" category now. We hide eggs and let our children hunt them and then our parents hide eggs and let us hunt them. It gets pretty intense and I have never won, but that's okay because everyone gets a prize- even the one with the fewest eggs. Brooke Kinney is usually the winner and her stealth egg hunting skills can not be matched. I do enjoy the challenge and this year it's in MY yard, so I might have a chance... I love spending Easter with my family and friends!
ReplyDeleteGetting a new dress and going to church as a family, I also love making an Easter Bunny cake and decorating it. Ok, eating it is the best part though. I look forward to doing Easter egg hunts and dying eggs again now that there is "little ones" in the family to share it with.
ReplyDeleteI love the Easter Egg hunt and cook out at our house. It is so much fun watching all the kids playing. I enjoy hiding the eggs also. I guess we never really grow up.

I always remember doing easter egg hunts in the backyard with all the children in my family. We loved to search and search until we found the eggs, especially the "golden" egg that usually had lots of money in it....Or what seemed like a lot to a young girl, it was probably only $5 but it was such a great memory and one I look forward to begin now that I have a kiddo of my own.

I love Easter egg hunts. I miss the ones we had at church growing up. We still do a little family one. Also, I really want to win this puppy.
ReplyDeleteWe used to have our family reunion on Easter at the Heart of Dixie club on Judge Brown Road. We always had lots of great food and the adults would hide eggs for the kids and we would hunt like crazy. Wish we still did this so I could share it with my kids.
ReplyDeleteGoing to church at Easter with my family in all our new Easter clothes. Most importantly celebrating Christ is ALIVE!
ReplyDeleteI love the family gathering. In the morning we head to church for Service and Easter Egg hunts for the little ones. We enjoy the time with my family for awhile then go off to spend the afternoon with my husband's family hunting eggs and eating way too much food. My oldest girls always go crazy trying to find the "golden" egg.
ReplyDeleteEaster is always a hoot in our family. We spend the whole day playing games outside such as egg tosses, egg and spoon races, easter egg hunts, and anything else you can think of that involves eggs! My favorite game is a race where you bend down on all fours (Yes your bottom is stuck in the air!)and push the egg with your nose to the finish line. The whole family gets together to eat and laugh until we almost wet our drawers! Everyone plays from the toddlers to the oldies. Everyone is always invited even if you are the half brother to the sister of cousin from the friend next door! (In other words, the more the merrier)
ReplyDeleteI still do Easter Eggs with mom, which I LOVE- and I can't wait to start new traditions with my own growing family!
